This aeration pump uses a specialized impeller with wings. Air is drawn into the pump through a small pipe protruding above the pond surface and is shredded into tiny bubbles by the specialized impeller.  These tiny bubbles are mixed with water and discharged horizontally into the pond through a 90º mounted discharge, allowing more time for the oxygen to transfer into the pond water. The Pond-Air 30 works in ponds up to 3 feet deep.
